Insecticide for Your Pest Problems

Posted by admin on Oct 29, 2008 in Insecticide

If you’re shopping for insecticide or rodent traps or poisons to deal with your pest problem, there are a few things to keep in mind to make sure that you’re shopping for the right product at the right place.

First, find a product whose scope is as narrowly limited to the pest that you are trying to exterminate or prevent. Over-the-counter Raid is an example of a product that is not narrow in scope, since it is a general insecticide that kills most insects. This will ensure that you are not killing ‘friendly pests’ like spiders, who will prove integral in ensuring your pests do not return.

Second, make sure the product you are using is relatively safe. Poison is never truly safe, but potential contamination of food and groundwater can be avoided if the poison is either biodegradable or is administered in a manner and medium that will prevent contamination.

Third, find the best price. Pest control product prices vary wildly in stores and online. Even DIY exterminating can be expensive so it makes good economic sense to pay attention to price and to buy accordingly.

Posted by admin on Oct 16, 2008 in Longboat Key Real Estate

Do you know what a “barrier island” is?  Let me try to paint you a colorful picture of one.  Sarasota is home to one of the most popular barrier island, Longboat Key.  On one side of the Bay you see nothing but beautify city lights while looking to the other side you see crystal clear waters and the Gulf of Mexico beaches.  Longboat Key is connected to Sarasota at both ends by bridges allowing access to all the city amenities and attractions day or night.  You will find the charm of the island scenery and shopping a most delightful and unique experience.

Longboat Key real estate has many beautiful neighborhoods with a huge selection of oceanfront homes and condominiums. The construction on the island has maintained carefully spaced Residents that allow privacy for all. With only one main road being the Gulf of Mexico Drive, you are sure not to miss any of the splendors and beauty of the island. There are parks, golf courses, as well as undeveloped spaces along the island coast to help preserve Longboat Key’s island splendor.  This also serves as a way to maintain the population and not have over crowding as so many small islands or “Barrier Islands” will have.

With tropical breezes and sunshine year round, one could find themselves in a lifestyle of pure pleasure every day.  Homes ranging from old Florida cottages to picturesque estates, from scenic rivers to bay waters you will soon see how the waterfront living can become a dream for the normal and a reality for you.

Making the best of marketing dollars

Posted by admin on Oct 7, 2008 in Commercial production company

Media buyers in all businesses have the difficult task of choosing which media will which their customers. Yet so much attention is placed on where to advertise that the advertisements themselves are produced for the broadest audience, one that doesn’t target the companies’ core segment. Getting commercial production done right requires hiring a good commercial production company – one that will put together a professional advertisement that effectively targets your company’s market.

Enlisting the help of an advertisement production studio will not only ensure that the results from the money you spend are worth it, but will also, in the long run, save you time and help you grow your business. By taking all of the logistical elements of shooting a commercial under their own oversight, commercial production companies will save you the headache that comes with trying to find each piece of equipment or each skilled crewman at the cheapest price, never mind the hassle and expense of an independent caterer. That will give you the time that you need to focus on growing your company, at a time when the tendency is for companies that aren’t actively managed for growth to shrink.

There are a number of factors you’ll want to consider in choosing your commercial production company. First, consider how long they’ve been in business. While the company may have some of the most experienced people, if they haven’t been around long, there’s no judging their track record as far as how their commercials pan out for customers. Repeat business means customers believe that their return on investment from these production companies is substantial enough to warrant repeat business. Next, you’ll want to consider geography. Given that you’re going to probably be shuttling between the production site and your own company when the shooting takes place, you’ll want it to be nearby. That means that if you’re in Florida, you should probably choose a production company in Florida, and not one in New York. Next, you’ll want to look at the quality of previous work for yourself. Does it jibe with your vision of what you want your customers to see? If not, are they willing to bring the commercial they make into alignment with your view of what it should look like?

In the end, it’s going to come down to a decision from your gut. Do you like the people with whom you have interfaced? Do they seem creative as well as capable? Who are their other clients? Answers to these questions will either make or break a deal with a company that shoots commercials, so they are worth considering as you decide where to take your business.
